Swearing-In of Mr Mr Lee Kim Shin as Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court

Singapore, 2 January 2014 - The President of the Republic of Singapore, acting in his discretion, and in concurrence with the advice of the Prime Minister has appointed Mr Lee Kim Shin as Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court for a term of one year, with effect from 2 January 2014.

Mr Lee was sworn in at a ceremony held at the Istana today.

With the appointment of Mr Lee, the Supreme Court will have a total of 14 Judges (including the Chief Justice) and 5 Judicial Commissioners.
