Information on filing a Memorandum of Notification for Relief or other prescribed forms under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Temporary Relief for Inability to Perform Contracts) Regulations 2020

Parties who seek relief under section 5(8) or 8(2) of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020 (“C19TMA”) in respect of any proceedings in court are required to file the Memorandum of Notification for Relief as provided under regulations 9(4) or 9(5) of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Temporary Relief for Inability to Perform Contracts) Regulations 2020 (“C19TMRegs”) by filing it in the eLitigation case file of the court proceedings under the document title “Other Hearing Related Requests”. Similarly, a party who wishes to file any other form prescribed under the C19TMRegs is required to file that form in the eLitigation case file of the court proceedings under the document title “Other Hearing Related Requests”. 

If you are represented, your lawyer may file the Memorandum of Notification for Relief and other prescribed forms under the C19TMRegs on your behalf. If you are unrepresented, you may file those documents at the LawNet Service Bureau located at Level 1 of the Supreme Court Building, during office hours.
